Our History
Our Disciple’s Trail property was given to the churches of Laurens Baptist Association for the purpose of ministry and fellowship. For years, the LBA hosted overnight camps for youth and children. Since that time, our mission has not only been to provide our own ministry programming, but also to open up our facilities to others.
We encourage you to develop your own ministry or community event and programming in a way that does not conflict with our Biblical values, all at a setting in one of the most beautiful areas on Lake Greenwood. Our spacious and versatile facilities provide everything you need for meaningful connections and to build community and transform lives.
Our Core Values
With a breathtaking view from one of the larger peninsulas on Lake Greenwood, you can enjoy a refreshing swim or explore the lake in our canoes and paddle boats.
Our spacious and recently renovated Dining / Assembly hall and kitchen can accommodate your gathering for meals, worship, or other events.
Our large outdoor pavilion can provide a unique outdoor gathering experience, overlooking the beautiful lake setting. Whether it be to provide an outdoor worship service, enjoy a meal for a family reunion, or simply enjoy a meeting outdoors, we can accommodate your needs.
The large outdoor area is perfect for enjoying soccer and other games with your students and families. There are also outdoor volleyball, basketball, and gaga courts for your recreational pleasure.
